The Madison NOW Craftivism Committee participates in the long tradition of using “domestic arts” to make bold statements to ignite social and political change. As an intersectional community, we welcome people of all skill levels and walks of life to join us as we work on large and small scale projects to make the world a better and more beautiful place.
We are currently participating in the Badass HERstory Project and have many more projects in the works. Crafters of all levels and ages are welcome to join us at our monthly Stitch ‘n Bitch events. We meet on the 4th Thursday of the month 6:00pm – 8:30pm at The Sow’s Ear in Verona, Wisconsin.
Find us on Facebook at Madison NOW Craftivists.
